Tomatillos are small green husk tomatoes. These sticky fruits are peeled and then roasted or blended into green salsa or cooked with chiles into a pungent sauce. This plant grows as a small bush and needs quite a bit of room to grow. Growers are now encouraged to plant at least two, to aid pollination.
Plants are $3.50 each.
